Join us at Breaker Rock Beach where every day is an adventure, from the morning waves crashing against the shore to evenings filled with bonfires and s’mores! Catch a glimpse of an orca leaping through the surf or watch happy sea lions playing among the rocks beneath magnificent pines. Race along the sand with your brightly colored kite, join friends to make the most amazing sandcastle, or gaze in wonder at the mysteries found in a glimmering tide pool. As the crowds come and go and the tides ebb and flow, Breaker Rock rises majestically as a symbol of strength, standing firm against the force of wind and waves. We can stand strong, too, when we stand on God’s rock-solid truth.

What is VBS Like?
VBS is a free interactive bible learning experience for people of all ages. The evening starts with a meal and a worship rally, then particpants break into individual groups based on age. 3yr – Middle Schoolers will start rotations consisting of Bible Study, Crafts, Recreation, and Missions. Adults will attend an interactive discussion based Bible Study.
When does VBS take Place?
June 5 – 8, 2024. June 5-7 will be 5:30-8:30 and June 8 will be 10-2.
Where does VBS take place?
VBS will be held at Broad Run Baptist Church: 675 Broad Run Rd. Jane Lew, WV 26378
How should we dress for VBS?
Pariticipants should wear casual clothes. There is a chance clothing could get soiled during Craft or Recreation time.
Do I Need to Pre-Register?
Pre-registration is not required but is highly encouraged to ensure we order and prepare an accurate number of supplies and food.
Who can participate?
This year, we have groups from Pre-K through Middle School. We are also offering an adult class.
Will an offering be collected?
We will not be collecting an offering but do encourage participants to bring pre-packaged food for our food pantry/blessing box.
What do I need to bring?
Educational material and supplies will be provided. Participants can bring a non-perishable food item for the “Blessing Box” as well as their Bible. Bibles are available if needed.
Do I need to stay the whole time?
Participants are enouraged to attend the whole time, we understand that you may have other committments. Feel free to attend when you can!
