As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering fellowship and spiritual growth within our church community, we are excited to announce a new initiative from our Christian Education Board (CEB). Starting this month, we will be serving breakfast before Sunday School on the first Sunday of each month, and we invite you to join us for this delightful and meaningful gathering.
We believe that sharing a meal together can be a wonderful way to strengthen our bonds, deepen our relationships, and create opportunities for meaningful conversations. Therefore, beginning on June 4th, we will be serving a delicious breakfast at 8:30 a.m., just before Sunday School begins. This early morning feast will not only nourish our bodies but also prepare our hearts and minds for a time of learning, reflection, and spiritual enrichment.
We are thrilled to announce that the CEB will be sponsoring the first breakfast, generously providing a delightful spread for all to enjoy. We are immensely grateful to the members of the CEB for their dedication and support in making this event possible.
However, we believe that this opportunity should be open to all, and we invite you to contribute to the future breakfast gatherings. In order to continue this monthly tradition, we kindly ask for your participation. During the first breakfast, we will be passing around a sign-up list, giving you the chance to volunteer and share your culinary talents with the rest of the congregation. Whether you enjoy preparing a signature dish or simply wish to contribute financially, your involvement will be greatly appreciated.
Not only will your contributions help ensure the success of future breakfasts, but they will also provide an opportunity for you to serve and bless others in our church family. The act of sharing a meal together fosters unity, and by offering our time, resources, and talents, we strengthen the fabric of our community.
We encourage you to mark your calendars for the first Sunday of the month and come hungry for both physical and spiritual nourishment. The breakfast will be held in the Fellowship Halls, and it will be followed by our enriching Sunday School classes, where we explore the depths of God’s Word and deepen our understanding of His teachings.
